What we collect, why, who sees it and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
1. The short version
- ✓We collect only what we need to run your learning and the exam.
- ✓We never sell your data.
- ✓Your name is hidden from public results unless you opt in.
- ✓You can see, correct or delete your data at any time.
2. What we collect

| Practice answers, lessons and active days | To check your eligibility and show your progress |
| Exam answers, timings and integrity events (for example, leaving the exam screen) | To score your paper and keep the exam fair |
| Device and network details | To spot shared or duplicate accounts |
| Photo or school ID (award candidates only) | To confirm identity before a scholarship is paid |
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. Exam records are kept for 2 years so results can be checked. Award and payment records are kept for 6 years, as tax law requires. When you delete your account we remove the rest within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, move it, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@eduprep.ng. We reply within 30 days.
6. If you're under 18
Your parent or guardian has to say yes before you join the exam. They can see your progress and ask us to delete your account. We only put your name on the results board if you and your guardian both turn it on. We never show your photo publicly.
